Beware of keyword scam regarding your company name or trademark

Don’t get caught put by the latest internet scam
One of our customers recently received this email. If you receive an email asking you to buy Internet Keywords, ingore it. It is the latest internet scam from China. No one can buy your keywords they will list your company name in the email and seem legit but it’s a scam.

Dear CEO/Manager,

I am Selina Tan, Customer Manager, from a Network Solutions Organization. On August .6, 2010, we received the application from a local company in your country and they would like to apply for “your company” as their internet keyword. After investigation, we found that you are the original user of this keyword. As this refers to your company name or trademark and to avoid the confusion and dispute on the internet, we are responsible to inform you and would like to know your ideas. If you agree about this issue, we will finish the third company’s registration. If you don’t agree the third company’s registration, please inform me. I’m looking forward to your reply. Thanks your understanding and cooperation.
